does anybody out there use this type of car to tow caravans with a mtplm of 1450 +? What are they like to drive?

keep looking at different cars but unless you go for big hefty 4x4's the CC matcher always seems to give advisory notices.

We bought a 2.2 SE Nov last year. Now covered 4800 miles in it at an average of 45 mpg including towing (approx 400 mls). Cannot fault the car, have no problem with our 1350 mtplm van. Very spacious and although geared for towing it can sprint if you press
    hard on the accelerator.

We've had a 2.0 SE4 since last June and covered 14000 trouble free miles over half of that pulling our carvan 1350 mtplm with ease. We compete in flyball with our dogs so no club sites for most of our trips. At Easter I pulled 4 other vans of the wet field
that has their wheels just spinnin, all bigger vans than ours, the highlight was pulling the rather embarrassed Mobil caravan repair mans van out of the mud he had got stuck in. lol
