2015 MG6 as a tow car

Hi has anyone towed with the MG6 2015 model  and what is your thoughts overall, I know it won the CC tow car for under £17000  bracket in the 2016 tests, also what make of tow bar  fitted the witter type is a removable one but at over £500 it is pricey,the
on the road price of this car is very tempting in all ranges .

    We towed our Challenger Sport 514 with our estate version (62 plate). My husband loves the car, tows like a dream and excellent MPG. On motorways he feels he has to hold the car back. We are now waiting for delivery of our new caravan (92% match) and he
    has no worries at all that it will tow any different. He took the car to the local weighbridge a couple of weeks ago - came in at 1640kg with him (he weighs74kg) and 3/4 tank fuel, which is much higher than the figure in the book. He reckons it's the best
    tow car he's had.

    There isn't such a thing as an MG6 estate......

    2.0 litre diesel 138bhp. Is it not the same?
