Recommended Towing Mirrors

Hi I have just changed my tow car from a 5 series BMW to a VW Tiguan and have realised my existing towing mirrors do not fit the Tiguan due to the size of the Mirror. Could any caravaner having a Tiguan recommend the make of towing mirrors that does fit?
Or as the Tiguan is wider than the 5 Series does any one tow without towing mirrors?

Some may tow without mirrors but a Tig is still narrower than 99% of caravans.

What extended mirrors do you already have? I have Millenco Aero like
    these
on my R Class and had them on my Omega before it. They fit well, little vbration & still allow the mirror glass to move when fitted.

As for not fitting any mirrors. I'm sure you could manage .... I do till I can stop to fit mine when I've forgotten to fit them .... again
Embarassed. My R Class is wide, and I can see most of the traffic behind just using the car's standard mirrors, but I can see so much
more with the extented mirrors. Laughing

Like MM I also use the 'Aero's and they perform pretty good as long as you have the clearance between the glass and the surround, and like MM I also stop up the road after leaving site because I forgot to fit them.

Milenco Aero`s will fit a Tiguan, you will need mirrors to stay within the law.

I use the Milenco with the larger heads for a better rear view. It is illegal for most outfits to be driven without extending mirrors although I have never heard of anyone being charged.

Legally the mirtors have to be wide enough for you to see down both sides of the caravan. Milenco boxes have a diagram on them illustrating this.
