Hi all,

I have a Bailey Beachcomber 350 - 20 yr old van, I need to get a spare wheel - I would be interested on thoughts regarding use of a 'space saver' skinny wheel / tyre - for emergency use only ?

Thanks

Wouldn't have thought this is a good idea for many reasons - weight, size.  Would it fit?  Best to bite the bullet and get a proper spare. The experts will be here soon.

I agree with Comeyras. Get the real thing. Check the size and stud count and search around a few scrapyards.

I wouldn't have thought that the Load Rating on a Space Saver would be suitable for the caravan.

As there is no advice I know of anywhere that I have seen I would play safe and get a proper spare. You can probably get one from a scrap yard.
