Has anyone got anything negative to say about the 2015 VW Passat Automatic Estate?

Surely buying a car is a very personal thing. People here have cars I wouldn't have given to me, but they are very happy with them. Similarly, I'm sure that many here would also like to see more than  the 25mpg urban consumption or 22mpg towing of my car.
I had a DSG Passat auto as a courtesy car a good number of years ago .... nice car.... but wasn't keen at all on the DSG bit.

It'll be next week now after they get the part. I was phoned earlier to say that it wasn't the bag that had failed, but one of the valve blocks. That'll 'only' be £750 then Don't cry I'm
working tomorrow till Monday now anyway

if only Innocentthere was a PM system

Merc only do the air bag complete with the strut which is £660 exchange plus a couple of hour labour to fit = best part of a £grand

I have`nt owned one but I noticed in the CC Towcar of the Year the  Estate dropped quite a bit at the rear when hitched up, personally I don`t like outfits where the hitch is too low for ferries etc. Easy enough to get an idea by siting on the rear in the
showroom, had the VAG DSG Gearbox for three years and found that OK but the torque converter that I now have seems a better auto box, but either auto is better than manual as far as I am concerned

Not a 2015 Passat but used to have a 2009 one with DSG.  Good towcar (pulling 1326 kgs)  and achieved 60 mpg on motorways solo about 40+ day to day; towing about 30 mpg (all according to car computer!).  Towed all over Europe over Alps etc.  DSG fine but never had a 'proper' auto so cannot compare.

PS Make sure it is a non poluting car!!!!!

I've got a 2015 biturbo passat and it pulls my twin axle Ace Pioneer as if it wasn't on.  With high 20s towing.
