Tyre Inflators

Hi, can anyone recommend a good tyre inflator for caravans? My required tyre pressure for my van tyres is 60psi and I notice that many inflators cannot go to that pressure.

I use a Ryobi R181 compressor with a large capacity 18v battery. I use the same battery in my drill for the legs and screw pegs. It is expensive, so I am told, but it is good and reliable. We did over 8 weeks in France lasts, 10 sites and it didn,t need
charging. I also used it for the car as I had a slow puncture!

Looks a nice bit of kit, and mine does need replacing, but at £145 it is going to have to go on my wish list for now.

I, too, progressed to the Ryobi from a Bosch one because the batteries on the Bosch were NiCad and died. Ryobi uses LiIon. It works, but I can’t say I’m overjoyed with it. The Bosch was better.

Hi I have a digital one made by ring, cost me about thirty quid and I use it to pump my caravans tyres up to 65psi.

I use a jump starter from Maplins it cost about £70 covers all bases, compressor will give 60psI no problem, also charging phones when not on hook up.
