looking to purchase a new Mitsubishi  Shogun, have any members any comments to make regarding this vehicle. We have towed for the last 10 years with a Shogun Warrior Sport and have found it a fantastic vehicle. We are looking for a little more comfort and
luxury as our bones get older! Hence upgrading to new vehicle. No doubts about towing ability, only concern re tow bar which will have to protrude under spare wheel carrier on rear door. Any comments greatly appreciated. Happy New Year to one and all.

Unfamiliar with the latest models. Older ones were a joy to tow with. Don’t see a problem with a permanent ball. It’s a utility vehicle.

you can fit an extension piece to the towbar befroe the ball is put on so the ball sticks out about inch and a half

This can only be done if you are sure that the towbar was type approved with a spacer in situ, otherwise it would be illegal.

I'm not aware of any fouling, if that was your concern, Ginny.
