Does anyone have experience of having parking sensors fitted to a car as a retro-fit? Were you satisfied with the result? What should I look out for? Any recommendations on where to start please?

Thanks

Hi, fitted some a couple of years ago. Got them off eBay for I think a tenner or there abouts. Got a set that were as close to the colour as possible, couldn't see the difference when fitted, came with everything you needed including bumper cutting tool for drill. Wired in to lights, the only difficulty I can forsee is if your car has its light clusters in the raising tailgate but not insurmountable. Took under an hour, just remember to leave enough distance from your towbar so that it doesn't pick up the towbar. Worked perfect, Hope this helps.

Snap. Put some on my Santa Fe. Easy to fit but a bit nerve wracking drilling big holes in my painted bumper! Just ensure they are pointing in the right direction and not too high or low, and make sure they are spaced apart correctly or it will look awful!

Had them three years now and still fine.
