Due to change the Shogun this year, not sure what to do. Would miss the Shogun but sick of paying Gordon Browns unfair road tax. Mitsbushi fan so the only car l can really look at is the Outlander GX4 or GX3 Auto, read somewhere that the earlier Outlander
auto was bit iffy but now Mitsibushi have change to their own auto box is that true. Anyone out their towing with either car, my caravan is a 2015 Lunar Clubman SB which the outlander should be a good match, of course the Shogun was the bee's knee's, never
had any trouble. Its going to be an hard choice to move from the Shogun of which l have had 3 over the last 20 years but we have to think of the future need a car with little more fuel econmy plus a road tax of only £180. So canyone give me feed back on the
outlander.

Hi Heethers, We have had a 2015 GX3 Auto since May this year just covered 7000 miles in it so far. Tows our Unicorn 3 MTPLM 1500kgs like a dream, did about 2500 on holiday this summer through UK and Northern France over 6 weeks. Use the Eco Mode when solo
and full AWD when towing. RFL at£183, far cheaper than our previous Outlander 2.4 petrol guzzler. Average MPG is working out about 35, pence per mile  is 14.5p over the period we have owned the car.

    works for us... Shuckford

Thanks for both posts really good help, Nick l know its going to be hard to change but l feel nows the time to look at the Outlander me and the O/H do a lot of golf the outlander has good luggage space for two electric trolleys and bags, if l went for another
shogun it would have to be the long wheel base, always had SWB O/H not to sure about moving up to the bigger shogun not a problem for me . Let you know later on in the year what we decide
