Hope I'm in the right place to post this.

We often read stories/articles regarding visiting areas/locations of interest to us but with no specific information regarding parking.  Does anyone know of a thread here or elsewhere where we could ask like minded Motorhomers regarding specific places to
park a M’home legally/safely e.g named car parks or post codes.  Height barriers being our main concern as we have a van conversion.  OH often looks at car park entrances on Google earth only to find  on further research that M’homes are not allowed to use
them. Requests for info from councils rarely get a positive result & sometimes no answer at all.  We don’t mind paying to park. Any Info appreciated.

Here's a good starting point for researching MH parking.

Also here might save you having to drive into towns.

Given the news today, it would seem that MH's and indeed any diesel vehicle is going to be banished to the periphery in the not too distant future.

i thought that on last nights news it was suggested that one of the major causes of pollution was the constant stopping, starting, slowing down, speeding up, caused by our friends the sleeping policemen.....and it was time to find a better way (average speed
cameras) to stop us going too fast in towns?

Write your comments here...I would have thought that the MAJOR contributors of the diesel polution would be the hundreds of buses/lorries/vans etc that frequent our cities . !! Bring back the trolley buses ,I say !!Surprised.

I hope the posters concerned will understand that my comment below is made in good faith regarding their posts.

Perhaps if posters wish to post about recent news items regarding cities/banning vehicles/pollution etc a new discussion should be started so that others may find & join in with their discussion more easily.

There does seem to be one in General Chat entitled 'Smog' which may be more suitable
