When we got home and read the show leaflets we realised that we had missed the Adria Compact with the rear bed slide out. Not that we are thinking of changing just yet but it seemed such a great idea that we regret not looking.

Did anybody look at it? Opinions?

yes, we did....as the Adria stand was the first one we came to...

a great concept but, with all slide outs, there are compromises in covering (and uncovering) the sliding bit.....im afraid this bit was all a bit cheap, tatty, rattly and generally a bit low rent....

generally adrias are well screwed together but this part was always going to be a bit Heath Robinson.....

not for us based on the poor quality of the execution rather than the concept itself....

I'm  always  a  little  cautious  about  things  I've  seen  for  the  first  time  at  N.E.C or  similar  shows  in  case  they  have  been  'rushed'  just  to  get  them  there.

I  saw  a  gorgeous  great  Winnebago  there  years  ago,  but  it  was  crowded  to  hell.  So  I  sneaked  round  the  back  to  peep  thro'  the windows  and  found  they  had  bodged  the  windows  in  {on  the  'hidden'  side}  with  sealant  &  Gaffer
    Tape!

    Most  definitely  Fur  Coat  And  a  Lack  of  ,  ,  ,  ,  ,  ,  ,

We saw it at the National earlier in the year, looked a bit claustrophobic and I didn't like the "starry sky" lights over the bed. The Adria designs are usually more advanced so I like seeing them.

Haven't been to the show this year but when we have looked at any van with a slide out we have always thought this area is a bit ropey, might be great for the hot climates but in our country not so sure, it looks as if it wouldn't stand up to a lot of wind
or rain and I would hate to test it with snow, all a bit flimsy and we've seen a fair few.

From the comments it seems that the concept is good but the execution poor.
