Yup I saw that from his avatar.

If it's his turn, then just fill up. I certainly used to do. Appreciate he is talking about off site but I never had any bother.

Crematoriums are usually good for a tap near the road by the way.

We've used Crematorium water supplies in France a couple of times and dropped a €2 coin in the box outside the gates.

Entente cordiale – and all that!

Unless  you  are  using  a  "SERVICED"  pitch  you  only  need  about  three  or  four  yards  of  plastic  hose,  the  selection  of  Hozelok  fittings  and  a  nice  bright  watering  can  of  two  to  two  and  a  half  gallons  capacity.

Use  the  hose  if / when  you  pass  the  MHSP  and  the  w/can  to  top  up  in-between  times.--  The  exercise  will  ensure  your  appettite  is  sharpened  !!

By  the  way,  A B M has  never  ever  drunk  from  the  water  tank  --  he  uses  a  cup  or  glass
Wink.  but  he  does  drink  water  taken  from  the  tank  !!

Write your comments here...on the Hebrides, Harris,Lewis,Uists  I found that Cemeteries also usually have a tap. Also all Ferry points have tap and rarer...a casette emptying point. Very handy to know.

Lots of other places .. Quays, Grave Yards, Beach Taps, Pubs etc. I just get the watering cans out and go for a walk .. We spent 3 weeks away in September and had two nights on campsites. Didn't have any trouble at all filling up Laughing

Thank you to all who responded. I've ordered a food grade hose from Amazon 7.5m - wouldn't have even considered it without all the epxert advice - so thank you!
