What age is it, CW? The earlier genuine Autocruise built models were the best before a Swift took them over around 2006(?).

Agree with Tinwheeler, the Autotcruise CH vans were the better put together ones (CH - Cockburn Holdsworth) upto 2006/7. I had a 2005 Starlet 2 ( a Starburst rebadged for a dealership chain )  it  had an ultra low Alko chassis and an Eberspacher diesel heater/boiler which we loved, with a very tidy end toilet seperate shower, we would have bought another, but not from Swift, nearest was a Bentley, but they also stopped making Motorhomes. Due to financial ineptitude, the vans were great. When we traded ours in the dealer said he hardly ever got a damp Autocruise....which is praise indeed from any dealer. But, still check it before purchase.

Undecided , If possible try to get the 'original'Autocruise' made by the Father & Son team the " Bently's".Who then (as said) went on
to produce under thier own name .My " Autocruise Sunnindale" was the epitamy of a quality U.K built M/home.Could'nt fault it !!.

We had a 2004 Valantine well built, they might still be made now if they did not have the big flood which took them down, even the PVCs were before Swift took over a really good vehicle, they are now a shadow of what was, now just swift in all but nameFrown

We have a Stardream which is now 5 years old. We have travelled all over Europe and Scandinavia in it and it has served us well. We have only had minor problems with it which have been easily fixed. The only complaint about it is the standard of workmanship
but again very minor issues. Owing to the long wheelbase one has to be aware of 'grounding' but on the plus side of that, the rear overhang is very small which has been a great for mounting a carrier for a lightweight motorbike. I think I would be hard pushed
to find a replacement for it.

Bad news in that it's Swift built but they are still thought to be good MHs and better than other Swifts.
