Intregrated Rear View Cameras
My MH has twin rear view cameras which are built into a moulding just below the high level brake light. I've no idea on the carema make/model. The monitor is part of the rear view mirror.
Ideally I'd like the normal driving camera to point slightly further back. Has anyone 'dabbled' with this system to see if the angle is adjustable? Thanks Kevin

If it's a Swift then yes you can play with the angles. You need to get it all apart first. The covering on a Swift is glued in place using Sikaflex or something similar. It's difficult to get apart but I managed it on my old one. I also found the picture
was not very good. Mainly due to the cabling. I used to get a picture with the other camera interfering with it. Solved with a relay that switched the camera that was not in use off.0 -
My twin rear view cameras were locked together with locating pins, to adjust either camera, they had to be pulled apart, reset, then put together again. Adjustment was very hit and miss, and took several attempts before getting it right. One was a rear view camera, because the van had no through vision, and the other a reversing camera to keep an eye on my car, which i towed with an A-frame.Both cameras came on with the ignition. Tip. Use good quality screw fit cables, rather than push fit ones. Far better contact and screening.I would think that the whole twin camera body could be adjust up slightly, to acheive the effect you are after. My description is for individual camera adjustment. Good luck !
