Hi, I've bought a 12v/240v tv for my van. I also have an aerial which has been supplied with a very short black/red cable to connect to 12v supply/battery. I don't have a 12v cigarette outlet connected to the leisure battery at present. Can I simply add
a 12v cig socket and wire to the 12v circuit? Under my fridge I have my leisure battery, elec distrubution board and fuse boxes. I can also see a small area where the 12v wiring for the van is attached. Can I simply add some new crimped cable to this and run
it to where I need the socket? Would I be able to get away with only one 12v cig socket by joining the 12 v amplifier cable to this cable run? I think I'm probably making this sound more complicated than it is. Basically, my new tv and aerial need a 12v supply
when I'm not on hook-up. I want a simple installation and also need to be wary of avoiding battery drain, safety, etc. I can pmpictures if this helps! I'm a novice, be gentle.
