Autotrail Map holder on dash

The map holder on the dash of our Autotrail Apache appears to be jammed. Following demo by Dealer we have not yet used. The button at the top back is loose and pulls out. Probably us being dim but advice would most welcome.

    For clarity is that a FIAT part and not Auto Trail?

    Are you referring to the central clipboard? If so my Boxer handbook (same for Fiat I believe) says that if a front passenger airbag is fitted the clipboard is disabled. I think to stop it hitting you if the airbag is deployed.

    A Fiat part. Just found in handbook. Passenger air bag fitted so yes has been disabled. Demo must have been on our previous van. Thanks for pointing us in right direction. Very grateful. Just need to get 11ELE2000 system sorted now and think we have coped
    with all probs.
