Hi Guys,

Can anyone give me good sound advise on what dashboard camera to buy for my campervan. There are so many discussions out there I am confused. I am heading to the continent shortly and want to have one on board. Thank you for some experienced input...

Another nextbase owner here too. I have the 512g, with the polarizing filter on the lens to cut out reflections, it works well. The footage is crisp & clear. Easy to use. As I've never owned another I cant make comparisons but I'm happy with the one I haveHappy

That sounds a good idea. The picture quality is superb but I do get reflections off the dash with minein the motorhome.

DK, it's fitted as std on the model. On each journey I set up the cam, put a piece of white card on the dash under the cam, rotate until the reflection is no longer. I'm not sure if you could retro fit one to your model. I play any footage I want to see
back on my TV, it displays no reflectionsHappy

There seems no option to retro fit any filters like you can on an ordinary camera. The problem is two chrome surrounds on a couple of vents, might have to put some black tape on them as an experiment.

I use a piece of the black anti-slip matting on the dash and that cuts the reflection of the trim out...............

Have you checked out the filters designed for the GoPro action cam range?, I have a GoPro & the diameters do look similar.

I recently purchased a Nextbase 312GW. It records in Full 1080p HD using 6G glass lenses to provide a wide 140 degree view and good quality picture. It has built in Wi-Fi which allows you to quickly view footage on your phone via an app and email the
clip out to whovever. It also comes with a Click and Go Powered Car Mount that allows you to easily pop your caera in place or remove it. It also has GPS and G force recording. All for less than £100. I like it.
