Awnings fixed to side of Tribute 625
Hi has anyone fixed their Awning legs to the main body of their Motorhome or a Tribute 625. I've spoken with one or two owners & they seem to advocate legs vertical and pegged, seems odd when Van comes with fixing kit any advice Please David

Hi, we have a fixing kit on the skirt of our motorhome and its use generally depends on how far oput we unwind the awning. There does come a point when you think get the legs on the ground....

A couple of observations;
The legs can only be fixed in one or two positions on the side of the m/home and you have to have a secure fixing, Most items ie bike racks, awnings have reinforcement in the body shell to take the strain, The body shell material could easily be damaged.
A minor point, you might remenber that there are sloping legs, other people might just walk into them !

I think the awnings come complete with the 'Vehicle Mountings' Robroy, I know mine did but I just ain't brave enough to fix them to the bodywork
!! It would involve getting behind the cooker for one of the mountings and fixing a backing plate at least . I'll stick to pegging it to the ground thank you very much
