Leisure battery.

Hi all ,i have an elddis sunseeker 300 unfortunatly its not been used since oct last year because of work commitments well i started her up and tried the internal power ...lights,pump etc and nothing flat battery so my wife and i took a drive up north to
visit family 600 mile round trip and when we got back still no power inside.will i have to put the battery on charge outside the van or does it sound like i need a new one,many thanks  Mark.

    No power at all?  Have you checked the battery voltage, fuses etc?

    The batteries can fail completely if they fall below 10v. Our motorhome has a battery cut off when this happens, to stop further damage, but should automatically reconnect when plugged into the mains to recharge. Maybe worth checking if the battery is isolated.

    Fit a solar panel. This will trickle charge the battery even on short winter days and keep it in good order. Ours charges the engine battery as well.
