Well had a lovely trip to Tewkesbury abbey club site but while we were there we ventured down to marquis

This is where the mh which I absolutely love we've looked at this van twice a year for 4 years at nec and couldn't resist nipping down the road to have another look around and while there we thought sod it motorhoming is definitely for us and this is the
van that suits us

So we headed back to the van to go through our finances and decided thatwe.only live once and we can afford the repayments on amount we would need to borrow so to cut a long story short

We pick our new mh up in three weeks are we mad .

Whether we're caravanners or motorhomers, of course we're mad!!!    But we only live once, so go for it.   We're expecting to pick up our new caravan in 6-8 weeks time.  Roll on!!

Been there done it never looked back , remember going over the price keeping it on the road plus storage , and to top it all site and travel cost for the time we wanted to be away Surprised it
put us off for a year.  Then couldn't resist any longer best thing we ever done

We picked up our motorhome yesterday. This is our first one as we have had caravans for sixteen years and loved every minute. Its going to be different but we are excited.Pity that we have had snow today which has delayed our first trip.

P.S.  No  cleaning  the  van  on  Club  Sites,  you're  not  in  the  C O T Y  competition  you  know  !!

yes, as Brian says, were all a bit mad, i guess....

when we bought our first van 7 yrs ago, OH had just retired (at a freshfaced age i hasten to add...) and our pals had taken us in a trip with them.....we were hooked and bought our first van within a month.

this was a fair slug of cash, but we sold OH beloved sports car as we didnt need two cars and a van, so that helped.

next van was an upgrade, again a bit more cash but.....

this van was a large step up from the (albeit lovely) previous two and it caused us a lot of thinking...

however, as we spend more than half our lives away in it, that made the justification a bit easier...

    have we regretted the spend?....no...

are we a little mad, of course we are.....but in a nice way....

ps....Brian....i was wondering why all your posts seem to be double spaced between each word.....just curious all all your posts 'look' different.....

They  are  indeed  double  spaced,  BB  !!  it's  a  throw-back  to  my  working  days  I'm  afraid,  when  I  used  this  to  "bulk  up"  my  reports  etc  so  the  boss  would  think  "  Cor,  I'm  not  reading  that  lot  !".  That  way  I  got  away  with  37  years of  undetected  crimeSealed  Wink

P.S.  :--  you're  lucky  I'm  not  using  "Double  Line  Feed"  as  well  !!

Of course your mad but in the right way.

We changed recently to a nearly new m/h as it suited our requirements and whilst it was a bit more cash it's money well spent for the memories.

We have been on Skye for a few days and just drove through a blizzard to get back to Fort William so snow is no excuse to not get out and enjoy.

All the best to you both, Paul & Kate. We were lucky enough to have that opportunity over 22 years ago and its one of the best decisions we've ever made. In that time we have travelled al over the UK and visited some fabulous places. The great thing is that
we look forward to each trip as much now as we did when we started. Welcome to a great lifestyle.

Best thing we have everdone was to pick out our new motorhome and get away from everything around and when you are in a club site you have to think where you really are as you just get involved in your motorhome and love every minute.  We picked up a new
Autotrail Tracker with a fixed bed and it is great just home from home and almost all the caravan club sites are very well kept. Hope you enjoy your new motorhome when you get it.
