reversing camera
I have an Autosleeper Talisman and can see distance out the back window when driving. My problem is when reversing as I cannot see close to the van just under the window. As I travel alone it is not feasable to jump out to have a look every time.
Can anyone reccomend a rear view camera I could get fitted.
Thanks

The other alternative is a 'fresnel' lens in one of the windows which gives you a wider angle of vision or a supplementary mirror on the back to give you a view of the area immediately behind the van.

We have a Waeco camera similar to this on our motorhome. Fortunately our Bailey cam pre-wired for a camera. The only thing I find, and it may be the angle that its set
at, is that once you get very close up it difficult to judge the last few inches, if say tou are reversing up to a fence..David

That's exactly what I did - gave me a great view in the rear-view mirror.

Write your comments here...I've used a fresnel lens for years. They need cleaning / replacing now and again, don't work so well with double glazed acrylic windows and are affected by things like rain and darkness! Available on Ebay <£10.
