Where is your waste outlet ?(on the m/v) when we had them i connected a 2mtr length of pond pump hose to outlet and clipped it under van skirt
with pipe clips,it was then just a matter of stopping near the dump point and drop hose into drain "simples"0 -
We don't have one but park over the drain and open the valve. If this isn't possible, we empty into a bucket.

HD nip down to GoOutdoors and buy yourself a collapsible neoprene bucket for about £15.I first saw one being used by DK on his website and followed his example;just let your grey drain into that and pour it down the waste water point on site.Little and often
means that you are less likely to develop whiff back up the plug holes as well.0 -
We do both HD, open tap if a drain is available, but use a bucket every couple of days on CLs. Usually ok to dump waste water into hedgerows with permission of course. Another tip we quickly learned, don't wash pots or drain cooking water in sink or directly
down drain into tank. Best to use a wash up bowl and dump after use. Keeps nasty smells and bits of food out of tank, making life a whole lot easier generally! Usually, only thing in our waste tank is shower and hand wash water! No different to what would
collect in a water butt from bathroom at home! A bucket is very useful, emergency dog bath, carrier for plants, even a low stool at times, unless a collapsible one!0 -
My waste water hose is 1m long and does the job. My van waste pipe is large bore and the tap is internal. Benefit of using a waste hose is that you don't have to get close to the grate and this can make it easier to lift the manhole cover.
Sometimes I use the waste to rinse through the cassette and then deposit the content in the black waste facility.
