Autocruise Rhythm - Peugeot Boxer 2013

Is there anyone out there with an 2013 Rhythm that could answer a few questions on battery charging.

Should both batteries charge when linked to 240?

What size of battery do I need 650a or 950a?

Is the van already fitted as standard with a trikle charger unit that charges the leisure and the vehicle battery at the same time?

    I assume that you’ve not found the answer in the handbook? It’s quite possible that the onboard charger only charges the habitation battery but you could buy a little ‘black box’ to link between the habitation and starter battery if you want to charge the
    engine battery also. They are around £40 and called Battery Master or Bat-Man (although searching for the latter may yield the wrong response).

    When we had our Autocruise it was only as on most m,/vs the habitation batt that was charged from the mains ehu but both when on the road with engine running

    our 2010 swift bolero charged both leisure and vehicle batteries from 240v supply....as it did from the solar panel and the alternator.

    this is acheived via the Sargent PSU power supply unit, which is almost certainly what you have in your van.

    if you have a manual, it is likely to be in there.

    Hi

    I have a'13 Rhythm. It has an 85ah leisure battery located behind the drivers seat. As BB has said above the Sargent charging unit which is located under the offside seating charges both batteries, the charge going to the battery that needs it most first.
    You can also select which battery to charge manually via the control panel.
