Blown fuse on Truma Combi Boiler

On a recent trip, we had a warning message come up on the control panel display (W45H) whilst we were trying to increase the water temperature from 40c to 60c using electric. As per the handbook, we tried the reset button on the boiler and, as this did not
rectify the problem, assumed the 230v fuse in the heater had blown.

We took the van to the dealer, who confirmed the fuse had blown and replaced it. The water heater worked fine for a few hours, but the next day, the fuse appears to have blown again. Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this ?

We had that happen (same error code) to us in our MH; at the time we were at York Rowntree and the EHU had tripped a few times; not due to overuse by us, but on the whole site; very briefly, but we put it down to that.  We couldn't access it ourselves with where it is situated so had to wait until we were home.

Touch-wood, it has been fine since then (February) and we've used the MH quite bit since then.  Perhaps I shouldn't have said that, we're off tomorrow for 5 nights Surprised

We believe both fuses  on our combi boiler blew due to a power surge caused by electrical engineers working on the power supply and EHUs on a site we were on. Both were renewed and no problem in last year. I spent some time researching on the web where there
is a lot of material. One of the main reasons given for repeat fuse failure is a problem with the PCB. If your heater is still under warranty it may be worth talking to a Truma engineer at their office which is just off the A50 near Derby.

Something I won't have to worry about then being non EHU.
