We have a Swift Concueror 655 which we have just bought. We have drained it down for the winter, leaving the taps open. Last night an alarm went off (not the main Caravan alarm) & having entered the caravan, the noise was coming from the front under the
seat. the only way we could turn it off was by switching the 'tap/pump' switch above the door ON. Obviously all those switches were turned off. The main battery is now flat, as we believe the alarm has been going all night !

Has anyone any idea (A.) why it the alarm would go off and (B.) where is the battery for this alarm ?

Look forward to some advice & help .

switch of the power at the main board the alarm and sensor/tracker has their own supply, keep the battery connected if it's at home if not buy a 10aw solar panel connect direct to the battery

I've just checked this on line(googled water alarms) and I think you will find this an after market add on. It may have been hard wired into the battery which could explain the loss of power as it is designed to use a 9v battery  Happy

Thank you for your thoughts thus far.

However, We don't know why the alarm went off & why, when turning the tap/water switch above the door, ON., the alarm then went off. We do apparently have a solar panal on the roof but don't know how or where it is wired to & what it's function is.

So still in the dark a bit !!
