As the previous comments we use all the equipment as supplied in the van. The one extra piece of equipment that Her Ladyship likes for our extended trips away is a 'slow cooker' or a crockpot as they are now called. Nothing better than coming back to the
van after a day out to a meal ready made!

OH never worries about cooking the evening meal ............ I do all the cooking Winking

We use oven and hob for cooking, we have even cooked our Xmas dinner in the van on a number of occasions,

We have been away in the 'van over Christmas for the last 6 or 7 years. I do undertake advanced prep for Christmas time however. I prepare my own roasters ready to go in the oven - not enamoured with Aunt Bessies. I make some portions of bechemel sauce in
advance and some portions of duchess potato. These are frozen in readiness.

We do cook in the van and it is a thought as to how much cooking equipment we have - oven, grill, 4 gas rings, microwave, toaster inside and a charcoal bbq, electric griddle for outside and a Ramoska for either in or out - we do carry some stuff don't we
    and they all get used!

We cook in our little 2 berth most of the time, unless there is a good pub with reasonably priced food near by. I  regularly do curries (from scratch) with all the trimmings on a Saturday night, I just leave the kitchen window open with the fly screen down
while using the oven and hob. No problem :)

BBQ, one electric ring, electric steamer, George Forman and a small slow cooker, saves electricity and cooler outdoors in summer. We do use the vans facilities in winter though.

I missed busfest this year which was a real shame as the lineup was right up my street.

CamperJam does 'cooking in a camper' and it's usually oversubscribed. Does busfest have a theme of what to cook?

To my knowledge there was no 'theme' for the 'Cooking in a Camper' at Busfest. Amazing to think there were only 2 entrants if the Camper Jam one is usually over-subscribed. Hope to check it out next year

We have cooked a full Christmas dinner in our van on more than one occasion - yes on Christmas Day. Great fun and so easy if you take care and cheat a little bit. We bought a turkey crown and roast potatoes etc . Cooked them all in roasting bags and no mess
    in the oven.

We have done a Christmas cake in the oven. Not on site but in the drive. We had a power cut which meant no cooker in the house so used the gas in the caravan and got one of best we have ever had.
