Cooker ignition

cooker ignition not sparking at all when i press the button

have checked the fuse in fusebox and its ok

anyone got any pointers

its a 2016 sprite major 4sb

    Have you remembered to switch the master 12v switch on.?

    I wish I had. Mine doesn't work either. Have told the service engineer for the past 2 services and it works for him everytime. Take it back to storage after service and no go again. We have bought one of those gas lighter thingies now- work just fine- if
    you do find out though- let me know!!!!

    Hi, I have the same problem on the same van. 2015 model. Dealer checked it out and it needs new spark ignition unit which is at the back of the cooker. Will be covered under warranty. Have you had any of the other common problems with this model- see my
    reply to you on Swift forum earlier!

    i had the sink waste pipe come detatched from sink but did a repair to that.

    never used the shower or even the hot water heater as we use campsite shower all the time

    if the cooker sparker works off 240v  what happens when your not hooked up to mains do you need to light the cooker with a match or lighter ??

    It will be from the 12 volt side.
