can anyone help, we purchased a new Bucaneer Cruiser last year, there were afew minor issues but nothing serious except, the interior lighting housing and rooflight surround at the front of the caravan had come unstuck( curved to come down from roof to front
window) after a few calls to the dealer(who has been great) it went for repair, but this didnt work the dealer took the van back and fitted a new section, after 4 weeks this has also now started to come off, is there anything I can do Eldis dont seem bothered

Would the van still be in warranty?  I think I would take it back to the dealers again and persist until they sort it

I am afraid there is little choice but to insist on another repair or claim for the loss of value and inconveniance due to the repeated problem. Have a word with the clubs Legal Helpline if you want to take it further.

We have friends who also have 2016 Buccaneers and all seem to suffer from this design fault, just very poor design/build quality.

We have a new Cruiser (this year) and the surround you refer to has four (4) screws with caps in addition to the velcro used around the edge. These keep the structure in place. Dont know if yours is the same or this has been included due to previous years
issues. As numerous posts on both this and the CC&C site re dealer and manufacturer support - Your agreement is between you and the dealer. If there is a manufacturing issue it needs to be resolved through your dealer although I would certainly copy any issue
    to the manufacturer.
