Omnistor extractor fan problem

The roof mounted Omnistor extractor fan has stopped working this morning, just when we could do with it. When I touch the power switch all that happens is that the red indicator lights alternate quickly between air in and air out. The fan doesn't turn at
all. I've tried powering it down completely but this makes no difference. Any ideas, anyone?

Yes, water has got into the circuit board.

Omnivent / Thule know about this and have produced a replacement circuit board. Had mine changed a few weeks back. (FOC)

The dealer should know all about it.

Sorry for the late "thanks" Fysh, just back in the land of wifi. Looking at the unit I can see water lodged in parts of the plastic moulding and suspect that this may be condensed steam whilst the unit is on so it's not surprising that water can get into
the circuit board. However, when I tried switching it on again I noticed a slight twitch in the fan blade so, just as an experiment, I moved the blade around slightly by hand. Low and behold it started to work again. All  can assume is that the motor had just
stopped on a dead spot. It has worked OK every time since then but I will bear in mind the possible circuit board problem if there is a problem again that nudging the fan won't cure. Thanks again for the heads-up.

Sorry for the sarky comment. I was just that way out yesterday.

Might be an idea to register you have an issue.  Probably more likely to swap it out for you.
