Damp 3 month old Lunar Delta caravan
we got phone call today from our dealer to say our van was ready after warrenty work we were told that were the pump as beeen leaking they have found 35 percent damp they advice us this is not high and to get it checked in 3 months time we are very concerned
you woul not buy a new car with 35 percent rust does anyone know about rejecting the van

If the damp is only over a small area and the flooring can be lifted to dry the floor then i wouldn't worry.
If its got into the wall i would have to have a rethink.
But do find out the extent of the ingress, and carry out your own test while its still at the dealers.

dont think the flooring can be lifted the leak was coming from external pump houseing oweing to it being cracked so water would of got on the wall

after speaking to our engerneer we contacted dealer yesterday and they have agreed that 35 precent is to high they are going to have a meeting about the van on monday and get back to me

After speaking to caravan club being told we only had 30 days to reject the caravan we did explain we pointed out complaints within four days but were to late the dealer as agreed that damp is high and there keeping caravan to it comes down
