I have a 2012 Lunar Quasar 544 which has some awning rail damage. Does anyone know what the profile name of the awning rail is and where I may be able to purchase a replacement?

I would have thought it would be available through any Lunar dealer although you might need patience waiting for it to arrive. You could try a google search to see if it is available elsewhere but beware it has to fit exactly.

    Hi Wildwood and dsweetman.

Have been in contact with 2 dealers a couple of weeks ago. Waiting reply, guess I'm just being impatient.

    Looks like eventually if ever.

Not sure how you would get it in your car if it cannot be delivered to where it is needed.

Possibly inside the caravan, behind the car. I have used the caravan to carry some lengths of timber before now

if I remember correctly! most Lunar awning rails are in 3 pieces which will make transport easier

Our Clubman is. Would not fancy trying to get the longest section in our X-Trail but would travel inside the caravan OK

    Hi Everyone,

Sent a follow up email this afternoon to the 2 companies I had contacted. Got a reply within a couple of hours from one. Rail to cost £66.46, which I think is reasonable. Rail does come in 3 parts and will fit in my car a Honda CRV. Will go on order tomorrow
so it will be a waiting game.

Many thanks to all who gave advice.

    Dave

For the three sections the price sounds good as caravan spares go Dave
