Repair crack in fibreglass panel rear of caravan

Can anyone suggest the best way to repair a crack of about 3 - 4inches in length in the fibreglass back panel of my caravan please?

    Is it actually fibreglass or ABS plastic? If GRP(fibreglass) the ideal solution is to grind a V into the crack and then fill with fresh gelcoat and then polish it to blend in. A quick solution could be to give it a few coats of two pack polyurethane paint.

    If it is a hairline crack and you want to keep moisture out you could consider Captain Tolly's creeping crack cure, It won't hide the crack but will keep water out.

    Thanks for your responses. It is a crack and not hairline. I thought it was fibreglass but will have to check now to see if it is fibreglass or ABS plastic.
