The Safety rail comes with fixing screws which are driven into the caravan wall via a pilot hole. Can I rely on this method of fixing or would you recommend a steel plate on the inside of the caravan and bolt the handrail bracket on the outside to this?

I think the safety rails come with a steel plate that is fitted on the inside of the caravan and is then bolted through from the outside ,there is also an additional fixing method that is fitted to the door frame if not enough room on inside wall,no way
will screws hold in the wall of the caravan

I'll move this post to the caravan section where hopefully it will get more replies. This section is for the the guest speciallist experts who answer questions live when the particular threads are live/active.
