Fixed bed or not (closed - duplicate thread)

We have been caravanning for aprox 12 months now and currently have a Sterling moonstone which does not have a fixed bed. We love the caravan but we are undecided as to whether we should swap to a fixed bed, We tow with a mitsubishi l200 so weight is not a problem. Any advice anyone???

    Hello we had a  two berth three years ago lovely van but  a pain each time to make the bed. We now have  a fixed bed separate from the seating area. Yes for us its better, if you just want to lie down close the curtain you can. The storage underneath is
    also great. We use a  topper on top of the Mattress which keeps us cool in the Hot French Weather.
