Cracks on Bessacarr E462 roof (2014)

Hi, 

I have just noticed 2 areas of hairline cracks (spider shaped) on my roof, is this a known fault?

    It's a not uncommon fault in many GRP structures. It's caused by shrinkage in the gel coat as it cures. The proper way to deal with it is to grind out the cracks to the underlying laminate and then refill with new gelcoat. A DIY quick fix alternative is
    to open the crtacks out with a sharp pointed knife and paint over with a two pack polyurethane paint.

    It is still under guarantee so you need to go back to the dealer although with Eldiss it is usually the end panel that cracks.

    I've been in touch with the dealer and they're checking with Swift to do it under warranty but both replies have been useful,
