No 12v elecrics on 2013 Sprite Major 6....Help!!
Hi! We are at Durham cc site with no 12v electrics.
Battery fully charged, charger warm and lit up so i assume its working. All fuses ok.
The control panel over the door is not lit up. Could this be the problem ? Does anybody have any other ideas.
Regards,
Richard.

Not sure what model you have so do not know what system you have and what the display should show. If you can clarify that someone who knows that system might be able to help.
Sounds like the main fuse but you say you have checked them. The charger works off the mains so would still be on as long as the mains fuse was not blown.
It might be worth asking the wardens for advice if you have not resolved it by the morning as they are often very helpful.

Readers are working fairly blind on this - but; you'll have a main electrical control box under a bunk. It contains the fuses which you've checked, the mcbs for 230v services and your battery charger which you tell us is warm. It commonly also incorporates a main on/off switch/ button to isolate the van? Is that on? Does it normally start up some monitoring software with an lcd display? Is the unit made by Sargent? They can be very helpful if you ring them direct. I'd ring the supply manufacturer's technical support in most cases or your local dealer but I only have experience of Sargent. As part of your travelling repair kit, you might do well to spend £10 in a market for a cheap multimeter. Any call for service support will be aided if you can take some basic readings for them. You may have a simpler controller than I've described on an entry level van like a Sprite - that's not mention to be critical, rather more helpful, our first van was very basic indeed, but that was a long while ago.

Check the connection / fuse under the seat by the battery box, they work loose whilst you're towing. We've had the same problem with ours.

Thanks for all your replys. It is a Sargent psu. I have been on to tech support and they sent me out a brand new unit to try. Sadly this didnt help!.The main battery fuse is ok also. Where would i find the habitation relay please?

In the Sargent unit which you replaced I'm afraid. It's time for that meter and some serious, logical fault finding I suspect.

On my Major 6 all the 240v works off the bat the fridge 240v sockets - you just press the corresponding button on the sergant for heating/charging/water, but the 12v only works when you press the black button (top left) of the sergant PSU & then the contol
pannel above the door.0 -
I had this problem on a Bailey. Underneath the bed there was a connector in the DC cable from the battery to the control box. It had worked loose.
