In France an my full size dometic fridge isnt cold

I have a 2006 bailey senator wyoming and the dometic fridge has stopped working nearly completely. The freezer section is -8 but on gas or electric the fridge is only down to 17 degrees when the ambient temperature is 22. It's driving me mad. I've had the
fridge out and upside down twice. For a start it wouldn't get cold at all and I've had to cut off the temperature sensor at the back of the fridge and join the wires together, then the temp in the freezer started to fall. I've removed the aluminium heat sinks
from the back and put on new thermal mastic and I seem to be getting no where. Looking for someone who knows there stuff to give me some advise please.

    Wow, I think you know more than most and you are certainly happy to 'get stuck in'. I did find fridge manufacturers very helpful when I had a problem. Good luck and hope you get it sorted.
