I've used Greygate Plastic Polish DTD770A to good effect removing surface scratches from branches after a 'navigational mishap'.

I think I found it cheaper with P&P on eBay than direct, from memory. It seemed a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way.

I used Fenwicks plastic window polish to remove some fairly large scratches from my window.

AndyNYorks, just out of interest what method did you use for this product? I have a surface scratch from a tree branch that I'd like to get rid of. Another navigational mishap!!

Put a small amount on a lint free cloth and polish over the scratch using a circular motion. Wipe away and start again with more polish. The process does take some time to achieve a complete removal of a deep scratch as the polishing needs to be repeated
until the scratch is removed. You also have to work out from the damaged area to smooth the polishing out and make it less obvious. I actually did the job over a few weekends (twenty minutes at a time) whilst away in the caravan and now have to look very carefully
to see any damage. Patience is the key, don't expect a miracle cure in just a few minutes polishing.0 -
Thanks. I'll give it a go.....
