Cupboard door latch problem

We've had repeated trouble with cupboard doors opening en route.. I thought the type used was standard,, but I can't find any parts on-line. The caravan manufacturer is French. I've taken some pictures to show the type, but cannot attach them here. If anyone
wants to help, I could email them.

As it is, I'll describe them. Circular about 1 inch(!) diameter. Depress to open, when centre clicks out. The problem seems to be the fixed latch part projects very little - maybe 1/4 inch, so the alignment has to be spot-on.

Has anyone had a similar problem, and did they manage to fix it?

Thanks.

Hi JayceeE - we had similar problems but OH managed to fix the problem.  Email me at valdaathome@gmail.com with your photo and I'll ask him to reply to you.

Are these the sort of thing you mean?

I had problems with cupboard doors where the catches were magnetic, they kept opening during the journey. So I took them off, drilled holes in the doors and fitted the type of catch in Valda's link. The receptors which the catch goes behind needs moving. Take the screws out, fill screw holes with a match stick and reposition the catch. Alternatively, if the catch needs to be a little longer, unscrew and take them off and pack underneath with something like a thin layer of stiff cardboard. It should then stay closed.

    I had
    these
on all my top lockers. All but two of them stayed shut when travelling,  I replaced them & tried every adjustment possible, but the two locker doors were almost always open when we got there Don't cry
