Help and Advice - shower repair
Hi CC members.
I'm new to the club and caravan img in general. So looking for a bit of advice.
I have a leak with the shower unit. the shower walls are water tight, and I believe the leak comes from behind the water mixer from either a split pipe/ bad connection. I have tried to remove the front of the mixer from the internal shower wall, although
I cannot go further as the rear of the mixer is fitted behind the wall.
It looks as though I will need to break the seal and remove a pannel from within the shower to gain access. i have searched on line but can't find any information that seems to help.
So before attempting this, I would like to know more about what to do, and what is used to reseal inner wall as it is a hard seal not silicone. I will have all tools needed available.
I also think the structure behind the mixer seems to flex too much, and some support batons need to be sured up.
Would appreciate any practical advice, or where to look for advice.
many thanks Dan

I always find that for any of these 'complicated jobs' you usually get good advice from your caravan dealership. I've done some jobs on our caravan, and a woman asking about DIY jobs on a caravan leads to the whole service department offering advice and suggestions.
If you decide it's too complicated then I've heard good reports about this company: http://www.pssshowers.co.uk/
