With the need to carry a larger sat dish, has anyone had any experience of watching TV over the Internet, with say Expat TV, or similar and using an iboost, or similar, or alternatively using a high capacity data sim, like Three's 30mb/12 month sim?

I wonder site wifi may be too slow and data use too high!

we have used Filmon to varying effect in Spain....the problem will always be bandwidth....everyones doing it...

sky's premium pay sports and movies channels (and others) are easily available in most of spain (from the pan euro beam) on a smallish dish....the issue is whether one subscribes (or is prepared to subscribe) for the convenience.

there is also satellite wifi, which will allow you to stream tv, but pricey.

iboost will only allow you to 'get closer' to someone elses wifi, may be secured....

three has a few more sneaky rules than at face value (tethering etc) and also 30gb will be used far quicker than ypu think when streaming movies.....

its a pain and im constantly looking for the next 'good' solution...
