Compass Reflection Drainage problem.

Our Compass has fold up sink but the water is not draining properly in fact it comes out of the sides of the caravan. We have owned it for 8+ years and this is a new problem. Maybe I can take off the rear glass fibre section of the van to see why. I have
removed the sink but there is no obvious blockage but you can see that the reservoir has been getting very full. Can anyone help us please. Thank you Clifford & Jeanette.

    Sounds like that the drain pipe is clogging up try bunging up outlet and putting some drain cleaner down,then flush trough after a few minutes

    If it worked well for years then I have to agree it looks like a blockage. The water running over would suggest it is fairly near the top. As it is a tip up system a commercial drain cleaner would need great care as you would not want that overflowing.

    ....as a quick attempt at a fix, use cotton buds to try and clear the blockage, if its near the top of the pipe you might be in luck...Happy

    Thank you to all members but I have unscrewed the small drain plug at the bottom of the reservoir but I cannot screw it back. Maybe it was connected to a pipe but I hope not. Any help welcomed. Clifforf & Jeanette.

    We had a similar type of tip up sink many years ago in a Compass that suffered the same problem. Eventually I took the sink off (can't remember how - probably brute force and ignorance) and found a soggy bar of soap from
    a previous user     blocking the outlet!
