Elddis front panel looks 'patchy'

The front of my 2012 Elddis Avante 564 above the windows has a patchy matt appearance in places, almost as if the surface sheen has been lost - and on the the gas locker door, in the right (or wrong!) light it is possible to see what looks like the ingrained swirl marks
left by a cloth after wiping it.  I have tried washing and then using Showroom Shine on it but the surface remains dull all over.  Is there anything that can be done to bring the surface back to it's original unblemished sheen?

    Some judicious, but not enthusiastic, use of T-Cut perhaps.
