Lunar Lexon

Hello all

We bought a new Lunar Lexon caravan about five years agao and since we bought we we have had no end of problems with the floor, mirror fell the first time we travelled and smashed all over the toilet area, water ingress, toilet pump and water heater packed
up. The lastest is a toilet leak which as you can imagine caused a lot of grief as we had to clean the caravan, throw away the carpet mats and start again. Anybody had similar problems?  Also any ideas about carpeting the caravan?

    I am sorry to hear about the problems you have had with your Lunar Lexon caravan.

    In case you are not aware, as a member, you have access to a Legal Helpline.  They may be able to help you.

    Please call Membership Services on 01342 318813 who will be happy to give you the telephone number.

    The lines are open from 8.45am to 6pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays during May and June between 9am and 1pm.

    The contact centre will not be open on Whitsun weekend so we will not be open on Saturday 28th May.

    I am sorry that I cannot advise you with regard to carpetting the caravan and wish you all the best.

    I am afraid all the manufacturers turn out the odd pile of rubbish which they sell to some poor sole. The same could have happened with any make and Lunar are no better or worse than the rest acvording to the Practical Caravan survey.

    If you get the rogue one like yours I think the legal route might be best as suggested in the previous post. The only way things will change is if the legal bills for these piles of rubbish makes it cheaper for the firms to get it right.
