Has anyone else had a problem with the Truma combi boiler not starting up, the control panel states Operation error battery flat less than 10v.

Checked the battery with a voltmeter and it was reading 13.6v with the same reading on the back of the control panel and the connection to the boiler. It was working fine last wekend but was very cold in the van this week and dealer cannot book me in till
June!

sorry to hear your troubles, have you tried Truma direct? A mobile service engineer might do a quick fix?

The panel can be reset by removing and replacing the wire that connects the panel to the boiler. You can do it at the panel or boiler end. Can't remember which wire but no doubt someone can say which one.

Have tried disconecting at both the control panel and boiler with no effect, also contacted Truma who said it is something that it was not something that could be repaired by me and would need a dealer to fix which was not helpful. Just wondered if anyone
had the same problem so that at the very least I could point the dealer in the right direction!

Can you not ring your dealer and talk to a fitter over the phone. I've done this before and sorted things out.

Had same problem with my van two years ago, bought new battery hoping to cure fault, did not work. Went through various diagnostics over phone with Truma tech dept. In the end there are two pcb,s that had to be changed on the boiler itself.

GM, without any 'expert' input, that would be my gut instinct.

the error message is not consistent with the prevailing conditions.

to the OP, might be worth trying the unit on gas only, but i doubt it will be any better....

Write your comments here...if it was the same prob. I had will not work on gas either just battery < 10 volts
