2014 Adria Isonzo. Above wheel arch off side under fridge grill we have a piece of wood about 2' long by around 2" protruding through out skin of caravan. Adria have been giving us the run around since this was photographed and reported at caravans first service around Sept / Oct 2015. It was not there from new. This has happened during its first year. I have since found others, same make, model, year, month of purchase with simular problem. Has anyone in the club had the same problem? First Adria sujested that this could be ground back and re gell coated. This would have compromised the integrity of the side wall as the protrusion was such that to level it they would have gone through the outer skin of the caravan. Adria then said in a phone call that the factory accepted it would have to go back to have a new side fitted. It does seem now though that they have had a change of mind about accepting that it faulty. Dealers have told me that the value will be reduced as it is VERY visable. If this wasn't present from new them it must be a fault developed during use. I had emptied the van ready for its return to Adria. I am concerned that the fault may develope further and so feel retisant to use the van. I have booked an approved engineer to come and examine the Caravan next week to tell whether or not this is faulty. In the mean time if any club members know of this problem or have experienced such a problem could they please contact me.

A photograph would save a lot of words!

However that may be impossible on this site!!

Not heard of this before but Adrias are pretty rare here. I think you need to know what this piece of wood does and what they are doi g to make sure it does not recur. As it seems to have happened on several examples I would assume apart from the repair
they will have looked at the cause and rectified the problem.
