Looking to change our caravan

Hi all, i am looking to change our caravan this year. I currently have a compass corona 576 6 berth. The layout is really good for our needs. Now here comes the problem, the dealer i have been using has offered a really poor trade in and the service from
their workshop is awful. It's sad to say i will be looking elsewhere to change my caravan, which is a shame as the the salesman is wonderful and can't do enough to help but is let down by the poor back up in the workshop.

Can anyone revcommend a dealer who has the full package from sales right through their company. I live in south wales and don't mind travelling around 2 hours ish. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have a look at Newport Caravans. I have always found them very good with sales and service.  Though I have always been lucky and managed to sell my van privately when changing. You can get a better deal when buying a new one that way.

I understand your reluctance to switch dealers but if you are not getting the service from them you have bo option. However, make sure you let the senior management know why you are 'moving on'.

Good luck with your new van and dealer.

If the service is poor you should go elsewhere and tell them why you are moving. If people just accept rubbish service the firms involved will never improve.

Another vote for Newport Caravans. Unfortunately, we bought our van from 3** in Carmarthen, their aftersales if you can call it that is non existent and they failed on numerous occasions to put it right. They are fine when buying the van, but you just have
to hope nothing goes wrong with it because if it does your in trouble.

In the end I refused to take it back to them, because they were doing more damage by trying to repair it.

I took it to Newport Caravans who were more than happy to sort out the items under warranty which the supplying dealer failed to, or weren't capable of doing, nothing is too much trouble for them. There are loads of others who have suffered the same with
3**, so give them as wide a berth as possible.

I have spoken with Ben at Newport caravans. Very helpful and looking good so far. A trip to them next weekend to check out the stock and I'll go from there.
