I have a swift conqueror 570 2011 model

And I am trying to get the fridge to work when towing.

The car battery is showing full amps on the control panel I have the fridge set to battery

All I am getting is the blue flashing light with fault code 10. ( no power connected )

Please can someone tell me where I am going wrong.

It works in gas and mains .

Off to France in snout an hour so really need this sorted.

Thanks in advance.

12v on the fridge will only work when the car engine is running and it may need some revs to click the relay.  Connect up, turn on fridge to 12v, rev up engine and ask someone to go into caravan to check if working.  The 12v will only keep an already cool
fridge cool; it will not cool down a warm fridge.

Hello JPOSH as already stated the fridge does not work off the battery. Is the car wired to operate the fridge and charge battery ? ( some cars are not wired for this ). if it is wired as stated switch fridge selector to 12 volt , when engine is running
blue light on fridge will be lit .Hope this helps.

If you have the original fridge, code 10 is 'no engine running' . Next gen N3000 range fridges, code 10 is 'no 230v'

Yes 10 is no engine running.

But I have sat in the car revving and wife in van light still flashing with code 10.

I shall check the wiring on the car when we get settled where ever we end up.

    Between orleans and vierzon

Weather not good so may make a full day traveling to the med.
