Any one got any advice? We are struggling to choose between a 2008 Bailey Senator Virginia and a 2012 Venus 490/4. They are both on our budget but can't decide whether the older van, which is a better spec, would be an unwise purchase. The Venus has a smaller bed but bigger wardrobes and a better bathroom but feels cheaper in finish. Very confused, any thoughts anyone?

The Bailey is a more upmarket caravan which is why despite being older the price will be comparable.

It is really a question of what you want. The Bailey will be more comfortable but that is also causing it to be heavier. The Venus is more basic and lightweight which does mean it might apoear more flimsy but they do seem to be well respected.

It is really a question of which you feel suits you best as either should give you years of good service.
