Not sure if this has been mentioned before but yesterday, on my Swift Challenger Sport 524SR of 2012 year, my mobile approved service engineer found a crack on the rear panel where the corner edge is just above the marker light, where it is right on the
edge. Inside the caravan at the area affected the damp reading was 25. Apparently this has been identified and acknowledged by Swift for a while. A repair kit is available involving the fitting of an add-on strip to seal and strengthen the affected area. Set
of 2 cost to supply and fit £60.

Check it's not a warranty job which would not be at your cost. Would have to be done by your original selling Swift dealer or someone who is authorised and willing to do that work.

Yes ! You are correct DougS, it is a warranty item but has to be done by Swift dealership workshop which involves a 60 mile round trip and the time, to deliver the 'van to them plus the same again to go back for it. When you tally all that up it is better
for me to have it done on my driveway.
